Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Matomo is used to analyze the behavior of website visitors in order to identify potential pitfalls; pages not found, problems with search engine indexing, which content is most popular… Once the data is processed (number of visitors reaching a page not found, viewing a single page…), Matomo generates reports so that website owners can take action, e.g. by modifying the layout of pages, publishing new content… etc
